About this study: Learn 5 specific tools to help leaders be courageous when volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) at the organizational and industry level are amplified. Successful leadership is not only about achieving outcomes but also managing perceptions around your team's performance and contribution. Too many high-performers hold themselves back because of imposter syndrome, ambiguous communication upstream, and an insufficiently proactive approach. Learn tools Dr. Camacho teaches her high-performing coaching clients to move forward, build culture, and develop team members who can adapt courageously at any level. About the speaker: Laura Mixon Camacho, PhD, is obsessed with helping people enjoy more productive conversations. A certified introvert, Laura believes all communication should be compelling and carried out with style and enthusiasm.  Given that today’s professionals are all overworked, overwhelmed, and exhausted, crafting a compelling message to reach them is a much-needed service to humanity. Great conversations also build culture. After 10 years in academia and living abroad in 3 different countries, Laura has settled in Charleston and creates quirky, interactive and intense communication workshops and privately coaches executives to be more influential. She is a member of the Forbes Council of Coaches and a communication expert resource for the San Francisco-based BetterUp. She is also author of the Cultured Communication Workbook. Laura’s area of research is political influence, having written her dissertation on the political rhetoric of former Venezuelan president, Hugo Chavez. In 2009, she founded Mixonian Institute.
